If there's a happier flower in the summer garden than a fluffy cupcake zinnia in peach, cream, blush, and butter yellow — we haven't found it. The Peaches and Cream Cresto! mix delivers lush, densely petaled blooms that look like they were piped from a pastry bag, in a palette so warm and inviting that any garden or vase feels like a celebration. Easy, rewarding, and gloriously prolific.
These picture-perfect light green mini heads of lettuce are great for containers but irresistible to all gardeners.

Resembling an illustration from a storybook, there are good reasons that this old English heirloom dating back to 1850 is still going strong. It’s fast to mature, highly uniform, tolerant of both heat and frost, and manages to be both succulent and crunchy at the same time. Plus, did we mention it’s off-the-chart CUTENESS? It’s the perfect variety for a balcony garden and very fun for kids.

The classic French market radish is fast, easy to grow, and so cheering. A true Springtime treat.

Mild, sweet, and crunchy, and arguably the most beautiful radish around, this old heirloom has it all. They make a fun snack dipped in a bowl of salt as the French do or sliced in salads and sandwiches for a little zip and color. The greens also make a verdant green pesto and are lovely in soups. A must-have for the Spring garden and so fun for kids to grow.

Direct sow in full sun in the cool of Spring.
Aptly nicknamed Candy Stripe beets. Fun and festive with sweet, mild flavor!

This old Italian heirloom is THE beet to grow if you can only grow one. It’s hard to believe that something so bright and festive emerges out of the dirt. Their striking beauty is best appreciated sliced raw or in matchsticks, but they are also wonderful for roasting where their color and flavor will mellow. And don’t forget to eat the greens too, steamed with lots of butter. Yumm.

Beets are a cool season plant. Direct sow.
