When I create I am seeking to evoke feelings of joy, peace and love. I often choose a sky filled with the vibrant colors and cloud formations of sunrise and sunset to convey these emotions. I feel peace as I reflect on the consistency of the rotation of the earth. No matter what hard things are happening the sun always rises and sets and rises again, and the beauty of the sky is available for everyone to enjoy. It makes me happy to share a sunset with loved ones after a day spent together, or to send a colorful sky to someone far away. I feel God's love in the beautiful patterns of the clouds. The "golden hour" is an especially saturated time for the sky. It seems to be filled with a certain magic, the energy of possibility contrasting with a quiet calm, the sky seeming to embody a loving embrace.
