Trevor Howard

Raised in Wyoming I discovered early on that I had a talent for art and I have gravitated toward it ever since. I have studied under various artists as well as received a bachelor of fine arts degree, but ultimately I'm a self-taught artist. I have worked for a variety of local and national clients and now call Utah my home.

I love the beauty in nature and strive to capture that in my paintings. I would describe myself as a contemporary impressionist as I endeavor to convey what a tightly rendered picture or photograph can't. Keeping my palette simple and relying on my ability to see the nuances of color & light I describe the world with paint.

I express myself in paint. It's something I feel compelled to do and need to share with others. Through my paintings I convey my perception of the world and hopefully a suggestion of things that can only be felt transcending fleeting moments in the world around us and transforming them into something permanent. My hope is that you will feel some of what I have felt.
